A QR code is a graphical code that can be scanned by a mobile device camera to easily launch a particular website, app, draft message, or a SalesMail video.
No. Simply open your phone’s camera and point it at the code for a second or two. When it recognizes the code, it will present you with a place to click on the QR code.
Yes. QR codes that point to a SalesMail video or URL can be updated to point to a new SalesMail video or URL at any point. You will not have to reprint your QR code. Simply go to QR Pro, click the edit icon to the right of your code, and choose a new SalesMail video or URL to point to. The next time the code gets scanned, it will go to your new selection.
No. Text message QR codes are static and you cannot change the phone number or message content after you set it up. That data actually gets encoded into the QR code. If you need to change the phone number or message content, you will need to set up a new QR code to use.

Yes. Every time someone uses their camera to scan your code, a scan will be counted. You will also be able to see additional engagement analytics on the SalesMail video that you point your QR code to.
No. Because these types of codes are static and do not point to a website, scans cannot be tracked.
Yes. You can use a third party QR code tool to point
to a SalesMail video using your SalesMail video’s short URL which can be
obtained from the SalesMail Desktop Portal. However, the SalesMail
QR Pro tool makes it very easy to choose SalesMail videos to point your QR code
to, to change the video your QR code points to at any point in the future, and
to see all of your QR code scan tracking and video engagement tracking in one
application. QR Pro provides unlimited codes, scans, and editing.
If you are an admin user, QR Pro makes it easy for you to choose a team member’s video to point to. If you are a corporate user, you will also be able to choose team members’ videos from the communities you have access to. Standard users will only be able to set up QR codes pointing to their own videos.
No. QR codes can only be set up using the QR Pro feature in the SalesMail Desktop Portal.
