🎵 Now Playing: Add Music to Your SalesMail Videos with Portal or App!

We’re thrilled to announce you can now add music to your SalesMail videos using either the SalesMail Portal or the SalesMail mobile app! Whether you're enhancing a silent video tour or adding subtle background music to a narrated message, this feature brings a whole new level of polish to your content—fast and easy.

How to add Music to SalesMail Videos using the app

Update your SalesMail mobile app in the App Store or Google Play so you are on version 2.2.2 or higher to see this new feature.

1.  From the Video page in your SalesMail app, tap the share button next to a video that you want to add music to.
2. Tap the toggle next to 'Add/Edit Music' as shown circled in red, below.


3.  Tap through the music options to listen and choose a selection, or just keep the default. If your video has someone speaking in it, we recommend keeping the background music at a low volume like 10%.  If there is nobody speaking in the video, go ahead and crank it up.
4. Hit Save at the bottom when you are done, and your music-enhanced video is ready to go!

How to Add Music to Your SalesMail Videos in the Portal

  You may need to hard refresh your browser (CTRL + Shift + R) to see the latest SalesMail Portal version 3.6.3.

  1. Log into your SalesMail Portal
    Use the same username and password you use for the mobile app.

  2. Go to “My Videos”
    Find the video you’d like to enhance and click the Share button next to it.

  3. Scroll down to the “Music Overlay” section
    Open the Music Overlay section and toggle the 'Enable music' switch on.

  4. Choose Your Track

    • Pick from 5 preloaded music options

    • Preview the music with your video by clicking the play button in the video preview to the left

    • Adjust the volume relative to your voice or background audio

  5. Click “Save”
    That’s it! Your music-enhanced video is ready to go.

  • Use higher volume music for silent video tours.

  • Add low-volume background music for videos with voiceover to create a more engaging feel.

  • Music is layered alongside your video (not embedded), so changes are instant and can be updated at any time.
