Transcripts/Closed Captions are automatically generated when you upload a video in SalesMail. Closed captions display the words being spoken as the video plays. Closed captions are used by people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and can also be helpful for non-native speakers and those who can’t hear the audio due to noise or other factors. SalesMail videos also have a transcript available for recipients who wish to view the text instead of play the video in cases such as when they are in a crowd and can't watch it right then but still want to see the message right away. SalesMail transcripts available at the bottom left of the video also allow recipients to translate your message into any language, making it easier to communicate and connect with anyone, no matter what language they speak.
In rare cases, you may wish to turn the closed captions and transcript off for a particular video. Here's how:
2. Click 'My Videos'.
3. Click the dot dot dot icon in the Details column to the right of the video you want to turn off closed captions for.
4. Click the Transcription tab on the bottom.
5. At the bottom left, toggle the Transcription Status to off. This will turn off closed captions and transcript on that video so people cannot see it. You can turn it back on at a later time, if you wish.
