AI Intro Text saves time and drives more views!

The SalesMail AI Intro Text feature saves time and drives more views by using AI technology to provide personalized email intro text that encourages recipients to watch your videos.  This feature is on by default and places the text just above your SalesMail video when you share via email.  Would you like to modify it to sound uniquely you?  Simply edit the text in the email draft or use the SalesMail Portal to edit and save the intro text so that it is exactly how you want it each time you share that video in the future (instructions below).    

What is AI Intro Text?

AI Intro Text is an optional feature (turned on by default) that leverages SalesMail AI to create personalized, engaging email intro text for each video you record. This text is automatically pasted above your SalesMail template when you share via Email or CRM and is designed to capture attention and drive more views. 

Why is AI Intro Text Generation Important?

1. Increased Engagement: A well-crafted email intro above your video increases the chance that your video will be viewed. 
   

2. Time-Saving: Creating and typing compelling intro text takes time and can be repetitive. This feature automates that process.

3. Customization and Flexibility: You can easily edit the suggested text to make it exactly what you want.

How Does It Work?

When you record a video, SalesMail AI analyzes the audio content and generates personalized email intro text designed to grab attention and direct the recipient to watch your video.  It may take up to two minutes after your video is uploaded for AI to analyze your video and create the intro text.   If you don't want to wait, no worries - simply record and share your videos as usual.  If you want to take advantage of the AI Intro Text that gets generated, simply record your videos and then go back to the Results screen in your mobile app or the SalesMail Portal to share them when the AI text is ready.  How do you know when your AI Intro Text is ready?  On the My Results page in the portal, if you see the AI-generated video name for your video that means SalesMail AI has done its job and your AI intro text is ready as well.  Simply click the green envelope next to the video to preview the AI Intro Text and send your video.  You can also check AI Intro Text status in the SalesMail mobile app by going to the Results page, tapping the small gray arrow to the right of your video, then looking for the AI Intro Text status just below the green 'Share' and 'Favorite' buttons.   

When your AI Intro Text is ready and you share your video via email or CRM, the suggested text will be pasted just above your SalesMail template as pictured in the email draft above.  Although most of the time the AI-generated content will be just right, it may not be perfect 100% of the time.  For example, it may misspell a recipient's name.  Always look it over and make any edits necessary before you hit send.

If you want to edit the AI-generated intro text or add your own intro text*, especially on a Favorite or evergreen videos you plan to share again and again, modify it directly on the Share screen in the SalesMail Portal and save it so that you can have the perfect intro every time you send that video in the future.  Just log into the portal, click 'My Results', and click the green envelope next to the video.  There will be a field that shows the current AI Intro Text, and you can modify it there and hit 'Save'. 

*We automatically generated AI Intro text for all of your videos recorded after 5/16/2024 as well as all of your favorites no matter how long ago you recorded them.  Only videos that have audio content will have intro text; silent videos will not.   

How to Enable or Disable the Feature

Although this feature is turned on by default for each user, is it an optional feature that you can easily turn off if you don't want to use it.

To toggle your AI Intro Text feature off or on from the SalesMail portal:

1. Log in to your SalesMail portal.
2. Navigate to the Preferences menu.
3. Find the 'AI Intro Text' option and toggle on or off according to your preference.
   

To toggle your AI Intro Text feature off or on from the SalesMail app:

1. Log in to your SalesMail app.
2. Press the 'Account' button at the bottom.
3. Press 'Preferences'.
   
4. Toggle the 'AI Intro Text' option on or off according to your preference.
