π πͺ΄πͺ New Lens for Virtual Backgrounds
Introducing Backgrounds SL, the first lens in our new lineup of SalesMail Smart Lenses* in the SalesMail Portal (accessible from your computer or phone browser). This lens gives you several options for virtual background and respects your beauty filter preference. While you can select your default lens preferences in the Lens Settings on the Record page, you can also switch backgrounds at any time by clicking or tapping anywhere on the virtual background. Now you can record anywhere and have it look beautiful!
*Smart Lenses save time and tailor your recording experience. Set your preferences in the Lens Settings on the Record page and any Smart Lens you use will automatically apply your preferences for beauty filter on/off and virtual background.
Attention SalesMail mobile app users: You can use Lenses on the go by accessing the SalesMail Portal in your phone's browser (e.g., Safari) at https://portal.mysalesmail.com. Log in with your app credentials, tap the menu icon at the upper left, and choose βRecordβ to use Lenses. Note: If you share from the portal, remember to manually "paste" your SalesMail link into the email draft.
To access SalesMail Lenses:
1. Log into the SalesMail Portal from a browser on your computer (or your phone), using the same username and password you use to log into your mobile app.
2. Choose the 'Record (Lenses)' menu item on the left.
3. Choose a Lens from the drop-down menu and then record as usual!*
To set your preferences, click the gear icon in the upper right on the Record page in the SalesMail Portal.

Some older or low-power devices might struggle to keep up with lenses, causing lag or out-of-sync audio and video. To avoid any surprises, try a quick test video first and see if your device is up for the challenge! π₯β¨

Use the Beauty Filter feature in the SalesMail mobile app to smooth out your appearance for a polished look. When recording your video, simply hit the wand beauty filter icon in the bottom right corner to toggle it on or off.
