🍀 Create a Memorable Connection with SalesMail Lenses

The SalesMail Portal has new Lenses on the Record page to help you capture attention, drive more views, and create a memorable experience and connection.  Choose a lens to add a Background, Beautify, Blur Background, or add holiday or other sentiments to your videos.  Here are some of our latest Lens additions.  Check the record page for the full list of current lenses; we will add more throughout the year!

To access SalesMail Lenses:

1. Log into the SalesMail Portal from a browser on your computer (or our phone), using the same username and password you use to log into your mobile app.

2. Choose the 'Record (Lenses)' menu item on the left.

3. Choose a Lens from the drop-down menu and then record as usual!*

*If you are using an older laptop/computer or one that does not have much memory or processing power, be sure to watch your video before sending it to someone.  If the audio and video are a bit out of sync, that indicates that your laptop/computer cannot handle the lenses and you should record without one. 

NEW: SalesMail Smart Lenses

SalesMail Smart Lenses save time and tailor your recording experience.  Set your preferences in the Lens Settings on the Record page, and any Smart Lens you use will automatically apply your preferences for beauty filter on/off and virtual background. 

To set your preferences, click the gear icon at the upper right of the record page.  Once you make your choices for beauty filter and virtual background, click the gear icon again to collapse the menu.  Now when you select a Lens that has SL (Smart Lens) at the end of its name, your beauty and background preferences will be applied.  

The first Smart Lens available is Backgrounds SL.  This new lens gives you several options for virtual backgrounds and uses your preference for beauty filter on/off.  While you can select your default preference in the Lens settings described above, you may also switch through the available backgrounds by clicking/tapping anywhere on the virtual background while you are using the lens.  Enjoy!
