Cold Lead Outreach Video Example

Cold Lead Outreach Video Example

Sometimes prospects reach out to learn more about your community—then life happens, and the conversation fades. A thoughtful, friendly video can be the perfect way to re-open the door and remind them you’re still here to help when the time is right.

Sending this video may re-spark a conversation with some. Others may let you know they’re no longer looking—which is still a win, because now you can update your CRM and stop spending time on a lead that’s gone cold for good.

The best-case scenario? You’ll discover that one or more of these “cold” leads are actually still exploring options—and ready to talk now.  Here is a sample video for inspiration, and some follow up steps to help you record your own.

Sample Video (for inspiration—not to memorize!)

"Hi, Hi _____________, it’s [Your Name] over at [Community Name].

It has been quite some time since you initially reached out and since we last connected—and that’s totally okay.

I just wanted to personally reach out and say: if you’re still exploring options, I’m here. No pressure, no expectations… just support.

Sometimes life gets busy, or plans change. But if senior living is something you’re still considering—now or even later down the road—I’d love to be a helpful resource.

Feel free to reply back or click below to grab time to chat.

Either way, I’m wishing you all the best.

Talk soon!"

🖊️ Now It's Your Turn

Jot down a few quick bullet points on what you want to include in your pre-tour reminder. It’ll give you a helpful reference without making you sound stiff or scripted.
  • Greeting & Your Name
  • Something that demonstrates helpfulness
Ex: “if you’re still exploring options, I’m here. No pressure, no expectations… just support.”

  • What to do next (CTA button):
Ex: “Book a time to chat.”

  • Closing:
Ex: “Hope to hear from you soon!”

✅ Final Reminders:

  • Be yourself—friendly, helpful, and upbeat

  • It’s OK to glance at your notes, but speak from the heart and avoid reading straight from a script.

  • It’s totally fine to make small mistakes—those little imperfections actually make you sound more real and relatable.

  • Aim for 30–45 seconds max
