The audio and video are out of sync on SalesMail recorded using SalesMail Desktop Portal.

When recording a video using the SalesMail Desktop Portal, the audio and video can be out of sync on playback if separate microphone and camera sources are being used (hint: using a separate Bluetooth mic is usually the culprit).

Before recording a video, you can use the Capture Settings at the top right of the recording screen to choose a microphone and a camera to use.   The drop down on the left is used to select the camera and the drop down on the right to choose the audio source.  If your audio/video are out of sync, the first thing to try is to change the audio source.  It is best when the audio and video source are matched - such as using both the camera and the mic from your webcam if you have that option.

Once you choose a new audio source, create a test video where you are counting to ten out loud.  It will play back for you once you stop the recording and you can check to see if the audio and video are now in sync.   If the audio/video still aren't synced, try other camera/microphone combinations until you find one that works.
